On October 26, 2023, Oleg Ignatyev, a partner at VERUM, presented a lecture at the international conference "Russian-Chinese Economic Cooperation: Practical Aspects of Legal Regulation." The focus was on attracting Chinese investments to Russia and the peculiarities of implementing infrastructure and Public-Private Partnership (PPP) projects for Chinese investors.
During his presentation, Oleg highlighted the advantages of investing in Russian infrastructure, including through the PPP mechanism and concession agreements. Oleg discussed practical aspects of project implementation, involving interactions with government authorities, land allocation, project information coverage, and investment return models.
Oleg serves as a partner and head of the PPP and project finance practice at VERUM. Additionally, he is a member of the Expert Commission of the Primorsky Regional Branch of the Russian Lawyers Association for the regulation of public-private partnerships.
